We ensure that we’ve carefully checked that everything we use is quite safe. We regularly test all of our equipment and exhibits for electrical insulation, earthing, cable security and other potential issues. We keep an up to date report sheet to confirm this. With added safety in mind, we always connect main powered equipment up through a single ELCB and an easily accessible ‘cut-all-power’ switch. At all of our exhibitions and demonstrations we display a number of small ‘memorable’ notices and signs to remind people that they mustn’t be tempted to touch any of the exhibits. |
